Playground Time...

I mean really... he's too cute... He can move and groove like a pro now...
Loving the slide...

Just happy as can be!

The Children's Museum of Seattle!!!!

Ashley and I took the babies to The Children's Museum in Seattle earlier this week... Babies get in free (under 1 yr)... oh boy did they have a BLAST! There was this little boat that Carter was just STOKED on... Seriously... look at those faces!
Kaycee was having a rough day... She actually DID have some fun... inbetween some breakdowns...

Climbing out a whale's butt... Another quick breakdown...
So proud he climbed up the stairs by himself... about to reward himself by going down the slide... the slide was awesome since it wasn't very slippery... so he could actually kind of go down it by himself...
This is in a big pit of soft, shape pillows... yeah... he's having fun... and loves the camera too...
Water, Boats, and Rocks... how can you go wrong?
Ummm.... AWESOME!
Just climbing up the stairs... he doesn't have any here so we didn't know if he could do it... he had no problem...

There was a little camping set-up... Yup, loved that too. Kaycee got bored and started climbing down the mountain... Carter probably could have stayed here all day. Well... until he remembered the Sailboat... Cookin some dinner. Ok... really just banging some pots. They aren't that imaginative yet :)
Just too much fun!! I love this place... it's so awesome they have spots made just for kids under 2... They just have too much fun... and kept them entertained the whole time... and then... of course... they took awesome naps which is ALWAYS a bonus!

Kaycee's 1st Bday Cake and Party!

Carter's friend Kaycee had her 1st Birthday this past Sunday... so her parents threw her a parrrtay. My friend and I decided to make a cute cake for the Birthday Girl... Gotta love Zebra and polkadots! First time making Fondant... turned out pretty well! It had been a while since I've done any cake-decorating... but boy was it fun! I just might have to replenish my cake decorating supplies... cuz it was fun to do again! The party was at the Stead's place... they lucked out here in seattle... this is the back of their apartment! The slider goes right out to this little "backyard" of sorts... it's super fun and I've envied it the whole stay in Seattle! Anyhew... we roasted some wieners and let the kids run amuck...
I've already decided I'm heading back over to take more pics of him with a cuter outfit on... My little studmuffin!

Kinley, chillin like a villan.
The bigger kids... throwing rocks down the vents.

On the move!
Typical Kaycee...

Oh and one more of my cute little man! It was a fun day! Especially for the kids!

Pike's Market with Gma Wilson!

So... another trip we took while my mom was out here... Pike's Place Market... and DUH we have to get a picture with the sign!
There were these MASSIVE avocados. This pic doesn't even do them justice. Ummm... doesn't your mouth WATER just looking at this picture?! We bought em. We also bought Salmon and Halibut cheeks to cook... YUM! And we bought a bunch of pastries from 3girls bakery... and I bought some gorgeous flowers for super cheap... There's random people singing all over...
There is this awesome mural in the shops below of "Carter the Great..." yeah... And ALL tuckered out after a long day. No, he didn't take the pills, he just was liking to shake them. Don't worry, super child proof and I was sitting back there watching ;) We also grabbed some yummy chowder at The Crab Pot, and got some CrabMelts and Salmon Quesadillas... ugh I probably gained 10 pounds this week and it was TOTALLY worth it.

Port Defiance Zoo with Gma

Me and my handsome man... My mom came out to visit a few weeks ago and one of the places we went was Port Defiance Zoo...It was pretty awesome!
Just a baby polar bear (ok not even that big!). It was a cool exhibit... while we were in the underwater part of the Polar Bear exhibit, two HUGE PBs came right up against the window fighting... HUGE! They are HUGE! (That's what she said...) There was no way to take a picture to do them justice... but here's a wimpy seal... (in a different exhibit.. but whatevs!)
There were these adorable little snow tiger cubs that came right up... and momma started nursing them too while we were there! SO cute!

These billy goats in the "petting zoo" loved Carter... and the feeling was mutual! (OK the goats mainly loved Carter's veggie sticks and were climbing onto his stroller to get them! it was too cute! Yes I sanitized everything once he was finished...

Carter with Gma... chewing on his hand as always!

All in all, a fun trip!
