Lil Bacon Lover...

As I've mentioned in previous posts... my child is a VERY picky eater. We found something new he loves though... BACON! I made him a whole plate full... and well... he ate the entire thing. I'm not even upset he ate that much bacon since he hardly EVER eats. He can use a little fat on his bones anyhew ;)

oh... and we did find something else he likes... protein shakes! Danny let him go to town on one the other day when he was being especially picky and I was freaking out about being a bad mother and can't get my kid to eat anything blah blah blah... well.. at least he got a full belly! He just guzzled it and it drooled all over. He looks a little crazy in the first picture.. I think he forgot what it felt like to be full. We switched to Carnation Instant Breakfast drinks since they take the same but a little less intense for mr. pint-size.

Hopefully he'll start realizing how great OTHER foods are soon. Like a sandwich. Who doesn't want a good ol PBJ every once in a while?!

So the other day I was making Orange Rolls... and my uber-picky eater decided to climb up and see what I'd been doing.. (Don't worry, anyone who ate the rolls, his feet and hands and bum did not get in the dough... this is all after they are in the oven;)... anyhew... so my child who hardly eats ANYTHING decided he LOVES to eat.... FLOUR??? He just kept licking his fingers, wiping it up... and eating it. What a goober. I took a fwe pics and then had to try and clean it all up fast so he wouldn't have a belly full of flour. What a goober. As you can see... he had a lot of fun playing in the flour too.. Oye!

PS, I'm not sure if that's snot or a swipe of the orange roll filling... use your imagination... just don't let it ruin you from enjoying Orange Rolls :)

Trip back to CA to visit Gma n Gpa!

At the end of July, Carter n I flew back home to see family... Carter got to do lots of fun things with Gma n Gpa... we went to the beach... (It was really overcast in the morning... but warmed up later).. He played frisbee and ball... it looks like he was eating sand.. but it was my fault trying to spray sunscreen on him after he'd already been playing for an hour... oops!

He wore himself out... and yes... he fell asleep with his hand inside the SunChips bag... it stayed there the whole way home...

Carter also got to "garden" with Gpa... my dad had to fix a sprinkler and Carter had alot of fun "helping"...

And Gpa found a worm... Super Cool!!

We also went to the Duck Pond... and fed Carter had lots of fun feeding them... (he did try to get in once...) There was a sweet duck with a mohawk... he was my favorite!

And this is us before Church... (He lasted about an hour and a half..) Ahhh California.. we will be back in less than 2 months and Danny won't have to work for a few months.. and we will be having a baby... Whew there's aLOT going on in the next few months!
